About

This Queer Social Anarchist community aims to...

1) advance a Queer theory that is able to include all queer people. While we do not seek to bar communities from identification and a degree of autonomy (LGBT /Straight) we also firmly support the development of an ideology that no longer creates borders based on sexual practice or gender identity. Humans will always be diverse, but we believe that we can explore what we have in common as well as our differences in ways that seek inclusion for all within our communities.

2) actively engage in social struggle as working class Queer people aiming for revolution. We will not compromise on this point. We seek to create a society that is no longer dominated by hetero/homo normative values but also abolishes the class system. We will struggle for Queer liberation, but will never make peace with the ruling class, no matter what identity they claim.

3) We seek to create a presence and opportunity for dialogue within the Anarchist and Queer Communities.

4) We propose an intersectional framework to approaching and understanding systems of oppression and exploitation, as opposed to (and as a critique of) the identity politics framework.
